Global Tax Supply Chain Management for Dokan is an Add-On for “Global Tax for Dokan” which enables you to

  • sell vendor products and services in the name of the marketplace
  • define the final supplier for tax purposes for any combination of product, customer- and/or vendor location, in which name the product or service is sold
  • allocate taxes and shipping dynamically to the final supplier
  • purchase vendor products and services from your vendors instantly
  • fulfill basic triangulation requirements

Why should I opt for this plugin?

When you operate a marketplace in a tax jurisdiction where the marketplace is obligated to collect taxes 

  • for certain products or for (electronic) services of its providers, or
  • on behalf of specific vendors or
  • on behalf of vendors from specific regions

this add-on might be the missing link which helps you out.

Examples:

  • If you operate a marketplace for electronic services in the EU, it is very likely that you are in charge to collect the tax and that you need to purchase the electronic services from your suppliers, in accordance to the EU regulation for electronic services.
  • It some countries it is likely, that you are in charge to collect tax if you sell products from overseas sellers on you marketplace.
