Blue Antoinette Group

The Blue Antoinette Group has a logo showing a woman’s figure with a robe.
Like the brand name is indicating, an association with Marie Antoinette and the Blue Danube is intended.

Marie Antoinette

Marie Antoinette, born in Vienna, was Archduchess of Austria, Princess of Hungary, Croatia and Bohemia. She was only 14 years old when she had to marry the future King of France Louis XVI and when she was delivered to the French. The phrase  “let them eat cake” is often attributed to Marie Antoinette, but there is no evidence she ever uttered it. However, she was just 14 when she was married..!!

Blue Danube

“The Blue Danube” is the common English title of “An der schönen, blauen Donau”, Op. 314 (German for “On the Beautiful Blue Danube“), a waltz by the Austrian composer Johann Strauss II, composed in 1866.
